Visited October 2007 with Rookinella and Tegwin
The Infirmary was designed by Anthony Keck and completed in 1770 at a cost of £6,085.
A chapel was added in 1850 by Henry Day.
I cannot find anymore history on this hospital.
Alot of the new areas of the hospital were in poor condition.
A water leak from the mains pipe inside had caused major flooding cuasing moss and plants to grow inside.
The older parts of the hospital were in good condition, there are workmen onsite during the week working in the chapel removing asbestos.
Update: Hospital has now been demolished except for admin and chapel, June 2010.
