Maidstone No1 Group ROC HQ

Visited April 2007 with Markr, Ali23, Nik24, Robsey, Minty447 and Peroxide

Please note that this site is not open to the public and is in use by a private company.

Thanks to Markr for organising this trip and to the owner for giving up her time to allow us to look round.
The bunker is in excellent condition, with all electrics still functioning and the back generators and ventilation systems are still in good working order.
The bunker consists of 3 levels, the main entrance, on top of the grass mound, the next level down is partly above ground but covered by earth and the third level is completely buried underground.
The bunker has been kept pretty much the same since it was decommisioned in 1968, some fixtures and fittings has been removed as well as any paperwork which was donated to the Kelvedon Hatch Museum
