Visited July 2007 with Rookinella, Oxygen Thief and Raddog



This was the last explore of the night, of a very long weekend.
The factory had closed on a few months ago officially but it seemed by the decay of the buildings, that some areas had long been left.
Flaking paint remeniscent of asylums that had closed 20 years earlier.

Maybe the transfer of the production line to Holland happened without a leak to the outside world while admins in the offices were busy finalising the final closure.
With the farewell party on March 23rd 2007, at Aston Villa football club with a 3 course meal. It would seem this was reserved for the office staff and managers as i couldnt imagine the Boss's inviting the floor staff.

Update - Demolishion began the day after the visit. The site has now been cleared.
