Fort Paull

A group of members from 28dayslater, had a weekend of explores planned and where could be better then to camp in an old military fort.
The first fort was built in 1542, commisioned by Henry VIII to protect the ports.
Since then it has gone through several changes to defend against the latest weapons of the Civil war then again during the Napoleonic War which is the phase you see today.

After exploring the local area during the day, we had a quick walk round the Fort before heading for the bar, the full tour of the Fort was to happen the next day even after a heavy session in the bar.

It was an excellent visit to the Fort, excellent host and surroundings. Please find the time to visit here and learn more about our countries history.
