Visited December 2006 with The Riddlers and BenWRX
After a long days exploring we headed for Central Middlesex Hospital for the last explore of the day. Along side the the brand new hospital which replaced the outdated facilities of the original.
The site was completely surrounded by the fencing and barbed wire and with a road metres away there was a constant flow of traffic and people, so entry wasn't going to be subtle.
After getting past the first obstacle we headed for the shadows for cover to decide where to go first. We went for the mortuary and it was the closest building. Its was a bit disapointing as it had been completely stripped. A few photos and we headed for the main buildings.
It was clear not many people had been in as there was no signs
of
vandalism or graffiti.
Not much remained inside, the odd chair, item of clothing or random
paperwork, but we had only seen a small percentage of this hospital, it
was hard to navigate around once inside with locked interior doors and
no other entry points outside. Plus the fact that demolition crews were
slowly knocking parts of the hospital down.
Ive not been back since but its probably likely that the building has
probably gone.
