Visited May 2007 with The Riddlers and Zero
Tank and Paulo 999 visited an old building on the Ford site that was currently being demolished earlier in the day, after a quick chat with The Riddlers and Zero we headed up there to take a look.
A phone call to Paulo for a few details and we were in the old building. The building had been completely gutted except for a pile of old office furniture and half a dozen old ford engines
We were not to impressed, and decided to have a look around the main working factory.
We were in the main engine assembly area, the factory was huge and went in all directions as far as you could see. There was no one about, but we still kept quiet.
Stacked up all around were various engines components ready to dispatched to the correct area of the production line. All parts of the engine were here and as we walked down the very long conveyors and production lines the engines slowly took shape into fully assembled engines ready for fitting.
The machines in the factory were all switched on, but not running, but the random noises they made kept us on edge.
After a few hours we had done a complete circle of this section and made our way out
Without any sign of any people, security or cameras.
